HOP KINGDOM X HAPPY IDIOT SKATE JAM

So planning an event, it’s bloody hard. Our skate jam at HOP KINGDOM is near now and the nerves kicking it, for me it’s the pressure to put on an event that people enjoy. With all the planning and promo done it feels like I’m doing my A levels again. This will be my first event independently sponsored by HAPPY IDIOT, a very big stepping stone for us. OH BOY ITS GOING TO BE A BIG ONE!! Ben and Joshua are great, supporting the vision and community. It’s really warming to know that people out in the world are still good, kind and wanting to help the next person up. Especially how the news and big social media outlets paint the picture. DONT BE FOOLED !!! So this is my thoughts before the event, hopefully the next part of the blog is the proof in the pudding !!!!

What a great event, currently Im en route back to Birmingham and Im shattered. Where to start the kids jam was unreal, I talking about a 6 year old doing a kick flip down 3 steps. So many more tricks landed it was unreal, so wholesome to give back to the youth of the community that we are apart of. The adults jam, where do I start. These guys are insane, it’s no longer a sport it’s an art !! If you ever get the chance to watch a hop king event, it’s completely worth it. I honestly don’t think I could have sent the money we gave away any better than what we did. To see the everyone having a great time, giving people a prize for trying that’s all that matters. You don’t need to be the best to be a HAPPY IDIOT.
