ASENT COMP (SOCIAL CLIMBING X HAPPY IDIOT)

Im proud to say we are collaborating with Social climbing to host a chilled out comp, the idea is great. Be first let me dive into the culture of climbing, most days with climbing you are always doing moves slightly out of your comfort zone. This can feel frustrating at first but over time you see the results !! This comp is to show your improvements !! Having multiple boulder problems to complete, with prizes given away to anyone. Showing people their progress in the activity and building on a great community that is climbing.  Social climbing does have a special place in my heart, this was the gym that relit my passion for climbing, lockdown was tough and climbing helped massively. I find the atmosphere in all these gyms are open and friendly, the amount of friends and opportunities I have made and taken is unbelievable!! A normal fitness gym is the opposite. We look forward to it !!!!

Everyone that took part in the event was awesome, the gym turned into a rave !!! With the atmosphere of the space, it felt a HAPPY IDIOT BUG was going around. All the different personalities and stories really inspired me and cemented that this band is needed. I can’t wait for the next event.
